Gundam Head Collection 3

I bought this figure by ordering from someone on the internet, well at least with a cheaper price than any store in Indonesia. Anyway, Gundam Head Collection 3 was released in January 30, 2013 with the price 580 yen each. The series includes Sazabi, Nu Gundam, Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (unicorn mode), Unicorn Gundam (unicorn mode), Zeta Gundam, Gundam Age FX, Desperado and Hi-Nu Gundam as secret. They also included 1 base with LED.

This figure was mold in a very high quality along with a very satisfying painting. They came almost perfect in proportion or color. It makes this figure worth of buying to be a display on desk or else. Also the position of the head sometimes makes the gundam/suit looks very menacing (except for Desperado though :D).

Well, although the LED makes some figure looks good but not all. The LED light up very brightly and the figure that comes with a very light color like white or light blue really makes the light protruding from the figure.

At least Sazabi looks intimidating from the glow...

Banshee and Unicorn looks pretty good. Banshee especially with the gold and black color. Perfect combination

Zeta Gundam looks really sharp in this series...

And Desperado looks pretty lame even with the light from LED.

The secret figure from the series was pretty unexpected but well what can you say when you got Hi-Nu.

HG 1/144 Ghirarga

Hello people, welcome to my blog. Today I'm trying to write my first post.
For the first time, I 'm going to review of HG 1/144 Ghirarga. Hope you enjoy it :D

I live in Indonesia, so it's hard to get some gunpla here and of course the price is pretty high. So I asked my friend to get this kit for me when he was visiting in Japan. At first, I'm not really interested with this kit. The reason is because the tip of Ghirarga's spear is not a clear part. Although I have already collected most of the vagan kits from Gundam AGE, I'm really disappointed with Bandai's decision to cover the spear with sticker.

Let's start the review of Zeheart's mobile suit!
Box Art:

For me this box art is pretty cool at the first impression. I'm not sure if the kit itself can do this pose though.

Head:

I'm not really fond with the design of the head. I think the pink part of the head is too wide. If you remove that part, the head will be cooler.  I will show the photo later on.

Torso:

with backpack

I used the yellow Gundam Marker for the yellow part. Actually bandai included 3 bright yellow stickers for each side of the yellow part, but it looked very ugly so I rather paint it myself.
For the articulation of the torso, it can move forward and backward a little because it's on a ball joint.

Arms:

The arm can bend about 135 degrees approx. Quite nice. The design itself is pretty cool with those clear parts under the elbows. However, there's a little bulge inside the arm joint that prevents it to go straight. The arm will always be slightly bend forward like in the photo.

Waist:

The usual vagan waist, well, not so bad. The tail can be connected to the back of the waist and the hand. For me, it's really it's quite hard to make the tail  because sometimes the wire can't be inserted to the part. The hip is connected with ball joints.

Leg:

The leg has a pretty good articulation and it can bend almost 180 degree. The feet is pretty good too because it can bend down a bit (not a usual vagan kit articulation). And also the feet design, it is pretty awesome. However, the knee caps can be easily knocked off the knee because it is very loose, so it can be annoying when posing with it.

Completed model:

Well here is the completed Zeheart's mobile suit with his usual color, red. His newest suit feel less intimidating than his predecessor, Zeydra but by adding some new weapons, the bit and the spear, it does look cooler and more deadly...

Playing around with this kit is actually fun. Its articulation is pretty decent, though it can't reproduce the exact same pose as the box art but overall not a big deal. Its joint are quite sturdy and it doesn't fall easily.

Without its face side armor.
So for the verdict, overall this kit is fun to built except for the tail part, it is very frustrating. And about the articulation, just awesome. Design? well, with the combination of red, yellow, pink, clear green and black makes this suit looks just fine.

Well that's all my review about ghirarga. I hope you enjoy my review. I apologize for any wrong words, mispronunciation and especially my bad english. I realize that I'm still lacking many thing so i will try to improve my skills.

I look forward for the next review. See ya!
